The UAE Ministry of Economy says several Emirati firms are showing strong interest in investing in Rajasthan’s hospitality industry, aiming to tap the state’s growing tourism market.
New Delhi – The UAE Ministry of Economy has reported that a number of Emirati companies are actively exploring investment opportunities in Rajasthan’s hospitality sector. The interest comes as the Indian state continues to experience a surge in tourist arrivals, driven by its cultural heritage sites and desert experiences.
According to the ministry, the prospective investors are looking at a range of projects, including upscale hotels, boutique resorts and integrated tourism complexes that could cater to both domestic and international travelers. Officials highlighted that such foreign capital could accelerate infrastructure development and create employment opportunities in the region.
Rajasthan’s tourism department has welcomed the prospect, noting that the state’s policy framework offers incentives for foreign direct investment in hospitality. While no specific deals have been signed yet, the ministry indicated that discussions are underway to finalize terms and identify suitable locations for the proposed ventures.
If realised, the investments are expected to bolster the state’s contribution to India’s overall tourism revenue and strengthen economic ties between the United Arab Emirates and India.
