Two Tiger Cubs Born at Indore Zoo, First Such Birth in Its History

Indore Zoo welcomed two newborn tiger cubs on the day before Diwali, a milestone for the facility. The cubs were born to a long‑time resident female tiger, whose presence has been a regular attraction for visitors.

According to zoo officials, this is the first instance of tiger cubs being born at the Indore facility since its inception. The birth underscores the success of the zoo's breeding program and its commitment to wildlife conservation.

The zoo has announced that the cubs will remain under close observation and will be introduced to the public once they are strong enough. Staff are preparing a dedicated enclosure to ensure the young tigers receive proper care and nutrition.

Local residents expressed delight over the news, seeing it as a positive sign for animal welfare in the region. The zoo plans to use the event to raise awareness about tiger conservation across Madhya Pradesh.

Further updates will be provided as the cubs grow and the zoo continues its efforts to support native wildlife.
