Three teenage boys returning from tuition entered a pond in Pipra village, Sahajitpur area of Saran district. Two drowned and the third remains missing.
Saran district's Sahajitpur police station jurisdiction reported that three adolescents, on their way back from a tuition class, stopped at a pond in Pipra village to take a bath. While they were in the deep water, two of the boys were pulled under and could not be rescued, leading to their deaths.
Local residents discovered the tragedy when they found a bicycle, a school bag and the victims' clothing near the pond's edge. Emergency services were called, and rescue teams recovered the bodies of the two deceased.
The third teenager managed to escape the water but vanished shortly after, prompting a search operation involving villagers and police. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
