Dindori Kotwali police arrested Shalu alias Imran Khan and Ravi Kumar, seizing gold, silver jewellery, a scooter and goods worth about Rs 1.66 lakh.

Dindori Kotwali police disclosed three recent theft incidents and, based on their investigation, detained two suspects identified as Shalu alias Imran Khan and Ravi Kumar. The arrests were made after the police linked the accused to the stolen items recovered from their possession.
The recovered haul includes gold and silver jewellery, a scooter and other valuables estimated at roughly Rs 1.66 lakh. All items were catalogued as evidence and will be handed over to the victims pending further legal procedures.
Authorities also reported that seven permanent warrants had been issued against the two men, reinforcing the seriousness of the case. The suspects are now in judicial custody and will appear before the Dindori court for further hearing.
Police officials said the swift action demonstrates the department’s commitment to curbing theft in the region and urged the public to report any suspicious activity promptly.
