Police in Jaipur’s Sitapura industrial zone have detained two staff members of Revans Technologies after a break‑in that resulted in the theft of banking GPS devices valued at around ₹2 crore.
A burglary at the shipping system of Revans Technologies Private Ltd in the Sitapura industrial area of Jaipur led to the loss of banking GPS equipment estimated at roughly ₹2 crore. The devices, used for secure financial transactions, were reported missing after the company discovered a forced entry into its premises.
Local police launched an investigation and, within days, identified two employees of the firm as suspects. Both individuals were taken into custody on charges of theft and conspiracy, according to the Jaipur police spokesperson.
Authorities said the arrested staff members are being interrogated to determine whether the theft involved an internal network or external accomplices. The case underscores growing concerns over security of high‑value technology assets in industrial zones across Rajasthan.
