Two Men Thrashed by Villagers in Pali on Suspicion of Theft

A young man visiting his in-laws and his friend were allegedly tied up and beaten by villagers in Pali on suspicion of theft. Police intervened and admitted the injured to a hospital.

In Pali, Rajasthan, a distressing incident unfolded when a young man visiting his in-laws and his accompanying friend were mistaken for thieves by local villagers. The villagers allegedly tied up the two individuals and subjected them to a beating throughout the night.

According to initial reports, the villagers became suspicious after seeing the two men moving around in the village late at night. This suspicion escalated into physical violence before authorities were alerted.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and rescued the two men. They were subsequently admitted to a local hospital for medical treatment. A case has been registered against 14 individuals in connection with the alleged assault.
