Two Illegal Clinics Sealed in Baitul, MP After Health Dept Raid

A joint raid by the health department, revenue officials and police in Chikhli village of Baitul, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in the sealing of two illegal clinics, seizure of medicines and the discovery of patients being treated on cots.
A combined team of health department officials, revenue officers and police entered Chikhli village in the Bhimpur block of Baitul, Madhya Pradesh, and carried out a surprise inspection of two suspected illegal medical clinics. The operation was aimed at curbing unregistered health practices that have been reported in the area.
Inspectors found that the makeshift facilities were operating without any licence, with patients lying on cots and beds while receiving treatment. A stock of medicines, many of which were not approved for sale, was also recovered and seized by the authorities.
Following the inspection, both premises were sealed and the illegal equipment was confiscated. Officials indicated that further legal action will be pursued against the operators and that regular monitoring will be intensified to prevent similar unregulated setups in the region.
