Two Government Teachers Suspended in Buxar Middle School Over Alleged Harassment of Female Students

Two government teachers at a middle school in Dumraon, Buxar have been suspended after allegations of molesting female students, circulating an obscene video and issuing audio threats.
Two government teachers, Virendra Prasad and Arvind Kumar, who were posted at a middle school in the Nathuni Ahir dera of Dumraon block, Buxar district, have been suspended pending investigation. The suspension follows serious accusations that they sexually harassed several female students, recorded and circulated an obscene video, and used audio recordings to threaten the victims.
The school administration reported the complaints to the district education office, which immediately ordered the teachers' suspension and handed the case over to the local police for criminal inquiry. Officials said the allegations are being treated as a grave breach of trust and a violation of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
