A car and a motorcycle collided on National Highway‑30 near Mohas village in Sihora, Jabalpur, killing two senior residents, Karan Singh Lodhi on the spot and Umashankar Lodhi later in hospital.
Jabalpur district authorities reported a fatal road accident on National Highway‑30 near Mohas village in the Sihora tehsil. A car travelling along the highway collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the immediate death of 68‑year‑old Karan Singh Lodhi, a resident of the nearby village.
The injured motorcyclist, identified as 71‑year‑old Umashankar Lodhi, was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries en route. Both victims were elderly members of the Lodhi family.
Police officials seized the involved vehicles at the crash site and have launched a search for the driver of the car, who remains unidentified. The investigation will focus on possible negligence or violation of traffic rules.
