Police in Sikar’s Jiinmata police station have lodged a case against two suspects accused of extracting ₹8 lakh from a young man by promising a government job.
Sikar district police, operating from the Jiinmata police station, have registered a criminal case against two individuals suspected of running a fraudulent scheme that promised a government job to a young applicant. The suspects allegedly collected a total of eight lakh rupees from the victim in exchange for facilitating the alleged recruitment.
According to the FIR, the accused approached the youth, assured him of a secure government posting, and demanded a hefty sum as processing or bribe money. The victim, believing the offer to be legitimate, handed over the amount before the scam was uncovered.
Investigators have seized the complainant’s statement and are probing the suspects’ network to determine whether other potential victims exist. The two accused have been taken into custody, and further inquiries are underway to recover the defrauded funds.
