Turkey's Ambassador Highlights Vast Untapped Potential in India‑Turkey Relations

Turkey’s ambassador to India, Ali Murat Ersoy, told reporters that the bilateral relationship holds "tremendous, largely untapped potential" across every pillar of cooperation. He emphasized that both countries can deepen ties in political, economic, cultural and security domains, among others. Ersoy’s remarks come as both governments seek to expand engagement beyond existing agreements.
The ambassador highlighted that while trade and investment have grown in recent years, there remains significant room for collaboration in sectors such as technology, tourism, education and defence. He urged Indian stakeholders to explore new avenues that could benefit businesses and citizens of both nations.
