New gates of the Tungabhadra Reservoir were inaugurated, with key leaders including the Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana in attendance. Union Minister CR Patil also participated in the event.
The newly constructed gates of the Tungabhadra Reservoir were officially inaugurated in a significant ceremony attended by prominent political figures. Among those present were the Chief Ministers of Karnataka, D K Shivakumar, and Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, along with Telangana Minister Revanth Reddy.
Union Minister for Jal Shakti, CR Patil, also graced the occasion. The event saw participation from MLAs and farmers hailing from four districts: Raichur, Koppal, Ballari, and Hosapete, highlighting the regional importance of the reservoir's development.
