Tripura demonstrated its integrated digital health platform during the national review of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and AB‑PMJAY.

Tripura officials presented a comprehensive digital healthcare framework at the national review meeting of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB‑PMJAY) held in New Delhi. The showcase highlighted how the northeastern state has linked primary health centres, hospitals and insurance processes through a unified digital platform.

The model incorporates electronic health records, tele‑consultation services, real‑time claim settlement and a citizen‑centric mobile app that allows beneficiaries to locate facilities, book appointments and track reimbursements. State health representatives said the system aims to reduce paperwork and improve service delivery in remote areas.

Delegates from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as well as representatives of other states, observed the demonstration and noted its potential for replication. The presentation also covered data security measures and interoperability standards aligned with the national ABDM architecture.

The initiative aligns with the central government's goal of creating a seamless digital health ecosystem across India, and Tripura hopes the model will accelerate enrollment and utilization of AB‑PMJAY benefits among its population.
