The Tripura government announced that all state healthcare services will be digitised by 31 October, aiming to streamline patient care and data management.
Tripura's state government has announced that it will fully digitise all healthcare services by 31 October 2024.
The move, aimed at improving efficiency and patient experience, will bring electronic medical records, online appointment booking and digital diagnostics under one integrated platform.
Health officials said the transition will be phased, with pilot projects already underway in select district hospitals.
The digital system is expected to reduce paperwork, minimise errors and enable real‑time data sharing across the state's medical network.
Officials also highlighted that the initiative will be supported by training programmes for healthcare staff and a dedicated helpdesk to address technical issues.
