The Government of Tripura has announced the establishment of a dedicated Health University, a move aimed at strengthening medical education and healthcare services in the state.
The Government of Tripura has announced plans to set up a dedicated Health University in the state, a decision made by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha during a recent press briefing.
The new university will focus on medical, nursing, and allied health education, with the objective of producing skilled healthcare professionals to meet the growing demand in the region.
Officials say the institution will also serve as a research hub, fostering innovation in public health and disease prevention.
The state government has earmarked land and initial funding, and a detailed implementation roadmap is expected to be released later this year.
