Tripura to get three new girls' hostels under BJRCY scheme, says SC Welfare Minister

Tripura's State Council Welfare Minister disclosed that the government will construct three new residential hostels exclusively for female students under the BJRCY initiative. The move aims to improve safety and accessibility for girls pursuing higher education across the state. Officials said the hostels will be located in districts with a high concentration of colleges lacking adequate accommodation. Construction is slated to begin in the next quarter, with completion expected within two years.
