Students in Tripura blocked Chebari-Tulashikhar Road to protest the shortage of teachers in local schools, demanding immediate appointments.
The blockade was organized by students who said that vacant teacher posts are affecting the quality of education in the area. They stopped vehicular movement on the road to draw attention to their demand.
The protest caused inconvenience to commuters and local residents who use the Chebari-Tulashikhar route for daily travel. Students held peaceful demonstrations while blocking the thoroughfare.
