Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das Accuses Rahul Gandhi, Left Leaders of Ignoring Durga Puja

Tripura minister Sudhangshu Das publicly alleged that senior opposition figures Rahul Gandhi and leaders of left parties did not pay any attention to the Durga Puja celebrations this year. He said the festival, which draws millions of devotees across the state, was overlooked by these political leaders, reflecting a broader pattern of disengagement from cultural events. Das emphasized that acknowledging such festivals is important for maintaining a connection with the people of Tripura. No immediate comment was recorded from Rahul Gandhi or the left parties regarding the accusation. The statement was made as part of a broader discourse on political participation in regional cultural observances.
