A delegation from Tripura Gramin Bank met Pradyot Manikya to explore initiatives aimed at boosting rural economies in Tripura, including the Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council region.

Tripura Gramin Bank sent a senior delegation to meet Pradyot Manikya, the chief of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, to review the bank's role in rural development. The officials outlined a set of credit and financial inclusion schemes designed to support farmers, small entrepreneurs and tribal communities across the state. They highlighted the need for tailored loan products that address the unique challenges faced by remote villages in the TTAADC region. Pradyot emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between the council, the state government and financial institutions to accelerate infrastructure and livelihood projects. Both sides agreed to formalise a roadmap that will be presented to the state authorities in the coming weeks.
