Chief Minister D Manik Saha of Tripura inaugurated the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026, a state‑run program aimed at encouraging youth‑led technological solutions.
The ceremony was held in Tripura where Chief Minister D Manik Saha officially launched the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026. The event marked the rollout of a new platform intended to harness innovative ideas from the state’s youth and technology community.
The challenge forms part of the broader Mukhyamantri Yuva Jogajog Yojana and the Digi initiative, both designed to strengthen digital engagement and skill development among young people. Participants from schools, colleges, startups and independent innovators are invited to submit project proposals that address local problems through technology.
Organisers said the competition will run through the calendar year, with periodic evaluation rounds and mentorship support. Winners are expected to receive seed funding, incubation assistance and opportunities to pilot their solutions in collaboration with state departments.
The launch underscores Tripura’s focus on building a knowledge‑based economy and creating employment pathways for its younger generation.
