Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has confirmed that the name of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will remain on the state hospital, dispelling rumours of a renaming. The clarification comes after speculation that the hospital was to be renamed.

The state government has addressed concerns over the proposed renaming of a prominent hospital in Tripura. Dr. Manik Saha, the Chief Minister, stated in a press conference that the institution will retain the name of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He emphasized that the decision to keep the name was made to honour the legacy of the freedom fighter.

The announcement was made in response to circulating rumours that the hospital’s name would be altered. The CM assured the public that no changes would be implemented and that the hospital would continue to serve the community under its current designation.

This clarification comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain transparency and address public concerns regarding infrastructure projects. The CM also highlighted the importance of preserving historical names that hold cultural significance for the people of Tripura.
