The State Election Commission (SEC) has announced that civic polls in Tripura are expected to take place in the last week of November. The commission is preparing for the elections by arranging for the deployment of state police to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.
The decision comes after consultations with local authorities and security agencies. The SEC has highlighted the importance of maintaining law and order during the polls, especially in areas with high voter turnout.
Election officials are coordinating with the police to set up polling stations, manage crowd control, and provide rapid response to any incidents. The move is part of a broader strategy to uphold electoral integrity across the state.
Voters in Tripura can expect a well-organized polling schedule, with the SEC ensuring that all logistical and security measures are in place before the elections commence.
