Tripura Chief Minister Inaugurates New Urban Polyclinic and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Buildings

Tripura's Chief Minister presided over the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed urban polyclinic, alongside the opening of additional Ayushman Arogya Mandir buildings. The event highlighted the government's focus on strengthening urban health services in the state.

The urban polyclinic is expected to provide a range of outpatient services, aiming to reduce the burden on existing hospitals and improve accessibility for city residents. The Ayushman Arogya Mandir facilities, part of the central government's health scheme, will offer free or subsidised treatment to eligible patients.

Officials said the new infrastructure aligns with Tripura's broader plan to enhance medical outreach and ensure quality care across both rural and urban areas. The inauguration was attended by senior health officials and local dignitaries.

The CM emphasized that expanding such facilities is crucial for meeting the growing healthcare needs of the population and for supporting the objectives of the Ayushman Bharat program.

The newly opened centers are now operational and will begin serving patients from the day of the ceremony.
