Tripura Aims for Full Digital Health Overhaul by Oct 31, Announces at Aarogya Manthan 2026

The Tripura government pledged to complete a state‑wide digital health transformation by 31 October 2026, unveiling the plan at the Aarogya Manthan conference.
Tripura's health ministry disclosed a roadmap to digitise all public health services by the end of October 2026. The announcement was made during the Aarogya Manthan 2026 summit, a platform that brings together policymakers, technologists and healthcare providers from across the Northeast.
The plan includes the rollout of electronic health records for every citizen, tele‑medicine portals for remote villages, and a unified data‑analytics platform to monitor disease trends in real time. State officials said the initiative will be funded through a mix of central government grants and private‑sector partnerships.
Implementation will be phased, beginning with primary health centres in rural districts and expanding to district hospitals and specialty institutes. Training programmes for doctors, nurses and administrative staff are slated to start next month to ensure smooth adoption of the new systems.
If successful, Tripura aims to become the first Indian state with a fully integrated digital health ecosystem, improving access, reducing paperwork and enabling faster decision‑making during health emergencies.
