Toxic liquor deaths in Banda spark political row, demand CBI probe, ₹25 lakh payout

Several deaths have been reported after consumption of toxic liquor in Banda, Madhya Pradesh. Apna Dal (S) termed it an administrative failure, while Bhagwati Manav Kalyan Sangathan demanded a CBI inquiry and ₹25 lakh compensation for each victim's family.
The incident occurred in Banda town of Sagar district, where spurious liquor allegedly caused multiple fatalities. Local authorities have confirmed the deaths and initiated preliminary investigations.
