Several deaths have been reported after consumption of toxic liquor in Banda, Madhya Pradesh. Apna Dal (S) termed it an administrative failure, while Bhagwati Manav Kalyan Sangathan demanded a CBI inquiry and ₹25 lakh compensation for each victim's family.

The incident occurred in Banda town of Sagar district, where spurious liquor allegedly caused multiple fatalities. Local authorities have confirmed the deaths and initiated preliminary investigations.

Apna Dal (S) spokesperson accused the state administration of negligence, calling the tragedy a clear case of administrative failure and urging immediate action against responsible officials.

Bhagwati Manav Kalyan Sangathan, a social welfare organization, has formally demanded a CBI-led probe into the matter and announced that each bereaved family should receive ₹25 lakh as compensation.
