The regional transport authority has confirmed that tourist and commercial vehicles will be permitted to operate without restrictions in Assam and Meghalaya until September 10.
The transport department overseeing Assam and Meghalaya announced that tourist and commercial vehicles will be allowed to ply on regular routes without any special restrictions until 10 September.
The clearance follows a routine review of road conditions and traffic management measures in the two states.
