In a crackdown on corruption, the Sub-Collector of Tikamgarh raided the CMHO office and arrested health department employee D. Ghosh for accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe to secure a computer operator position.
The raid was carried out at the CMHO office in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, where the Sub-Collector, Sagar Lokayukt, conducted a surprise operation.
During the operation, he arrested D. Ghosh, a health department employee, who was accused of taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 to secure a computer operator position.
Ghosh was caught in the act of accepting the money, and the Sub-Collector detained him on the spot.
Authorities say the arrest is part of a broader anti-corruption drive aimed at curbing bribery within government departments.
