A female worker died after being attacked by a tiger named Shivaji inside Jaipur's Nahargarh Biological Park, officials said.
The incident took place at Nahargarh Biological Park on the outskirts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, when a female employee entered the enclosure housing a Bengal tiger named Shivaji. Security footage shows the worker approaching the tiger's barrier before the animal broke through and mauled her.
Park officials confirmed that the woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquiry has been launched to determine how the worker gained access to the tiger's pen and whether safety protocols were breached.
