Three women arrested for gold locket theft at Nagod jewellery shop in Satna

Police in Satna’s Nagod area detained three women after CCTV footage linked them to a gold locket robbery at a local jewellery store.
Satna district police have taken three female suspects into custody following a robbery at a jewellery shop in Nagod. The thieves entered the store, purchased silver bangles and, when the opportunity arose, seized a gold locket before fleeing the scene.
Investigators reviewed CCTV recordings from the shop, which captured the suspects' movements and identified them as women. Interrogations of shop staff and nearby witnesses further corroborated the video evidence.
Based on the gathered material, police located and arrested the three women later that day. The arrests were confirmed by district officials, who said the case will now proceed through the legal process.
No injuries were reported, and the stolen gold locket has not yet been recovered. Authorities have urged the public to report any information that could aid in retrieving the missing item.
