Fresh communal clashes in Kangpokpi district saw three Naga villages attacked, with ten houses set ablaze.

Fresh violence erupted in Manipur's Kangpokpi district as armed groups entered three Naga habitations, setting fire to ten residential structures. Eyewitnesses said the attackers moved swiftly through the villages, igniting houses and forcing families to flee into the surrounding hills.
Local officials reported that the burning of homes displaced dozens of residents, many of whom sought temporary shelter in nearby relief centers. No casualties have been confirmed yet, but the loss of property has heightened fear among the affected communities.
Security forces were dispatched to the area shortly after the incident, imposing a curfew and beginning an investigation to identify those responsible. Authorities have appealed for calm and urged all parties to refrain from further escalation as tensions remain high in the region.
