A head‑on crash between a bus and a car on Gadhakota Road in Sagar’s Baheria area left three car occupants dead, and the bus plunged into a ditch as the driver escaped.
On Saturday, a severe road accident occurred in the Baheria police‑station jurisdiction of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, when a bus travelling on Gadhakota Road collided head‑on with a car coming from the opposite direction.
The impact was forceful enough to push the bus off the pavement, causing it to slip into a nearby ditch.
All three occupants of the car sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services arrived promptly, but the bus driver managed to flee before police could detain him.
Local authorities have launched an investigation, registering a case of culpable homicide and attempting to locate the missing driver.
