The impact caused the car to be dragged for about 50 feet before coming to a halt. Rescue teams recovered the bodies of three family members – a husband, his wife and a relative – at the scene. A fourth occupant sustained serious injuries and was air‑lifted to a hospital in Jodhpur for advanced treatment.
