On August 22, three couples from Italy, Spain and England will marry at the Anandamaya Wellness Retreat in Ujjain, following Hindu Vedic rituals overseen by Dr. Omand Guruji.
Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, will host a unique inter‑cultural ceremony on August 22 as three foreign couples from Italy, Spain and England exchange vows under traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The weddings are scheduled to take place at the Anandamaya Wellness Retreat located in Ninora, a suburb of the historic city.
The couples will perform the sacred fire ceremony (Agni Parikrama), taking seven rounds around the sacred fire as witnesses, a core element of Vedic marriage rites. Dr. Omand Guruji, a recognized Vedic scholar, will preside over the rituals, ensuring that each step conforms to the ancient protocol.
