Three First Information Reports were lodged against JDU MLA Anant Singh after his roadshow drew a massive convoy of vehicles, sirens and JCB machines.

A roadshow organized by Janata Dal United (JDU) legislator Anant Singh attracted a large procession that included hundreds of vehicles, police sirens and several JCB earth‑moving machines. Local law enforcement said three First Information Reports (FIRs) were filed in connection with the event, citing alleged violations of public order and traffic regulations.

According to police sources, the FIRs pertain to complaints that the convoy disrupted normal traffic flow and caused inconvenience to residents in the area where the roadshow was staged. The reports also mention the use of heavy machinery such as JCBs, which authorities say required special permission that was not obtained.

The JDU MLA has not yet commented publicly on the FIRs. Police officials indicated that investigations are underway and that any further legal action will depend on the findings of those inquiries.

The incident underscores the challenges of managing large political rallies in densely populated regions, where the deployment of extensive vehicle fleets and construction equipment can lead to public grievances and legal scrutiny.

Authorities have urged organizers of future events to coordinate closely with local administration to ensure compliance with traffic and public safety norms.
