Three drug smugglers nabbed in Indore with 7 kg amphetamine worth ~₹5.5 crore

Delhi's DRI and the Central Bureau of Narcotics seized 7 kg of amphetamine, valued at about ₹5.5 crore, and arrested three suspects in Indore.
Indore police, assisted by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), uncovered a major drug‑trafficking operation on Tuesday. The joint team arrested three individuals suspected of smuggling amphetamine into the city.
Investigators found seven kilograms of amphetamine concealed inside the stepney compartment of a black Mahindra Thar. The seized quantity is estimated to be worth roughly five and a half crore rupees on the international market.
The three accused were taken into custody and handed over to the CBN for further interrogation. Authorities said the case will be forwarded to the court for prosecution under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. No further arrests have been reported as of now.
