Police in Deeg, Rajasthan, have detained three young men accused of cyber fraud under Operation Countdown, seizing two Android phones and four counterfeit SIM cards.
Police at the Jurrha Police Station in Deeg launched Operation Countdown to curb rising cyber fraud cases. As part of the operation, three young men were taken into custody on charges of orchestrating online scams.
The arrested suspects were found in possession of two Android smartphones and four fake SIM cards, which authorities say were used to facilitate fraudulent activities. The seized devices are being examined for evidence.
Investigators are continuing to probe the extent of the fraud network and will determine further legal action once the case file is complete.
