A new trilogy of books celebrating the rich cultural heritage and unique biodiversity of Arunachal Pradesh was unveiled, aiming to promote awareness and pride among locals and visitors.
A three‑volume series of books was formally presented in Arunachal Pradesh to showcase the state’s distinctive cultural traditions and its remarkable biodiversity. The launch ceremony brought together cultural scholars, environmentalists and local officials who highlighted the need to document and share the region’s heritage.
Each volume focuses on a different facet: one explores indigenous folklore, rituals and artistic expressions; another details the state’s varied ecosystems, ranging from subtropical forests to alpine meadows; the third combines visual documentation with scientific insights to underline the interdependence of culture and nature.
Organisers said the trilogy is intended to serve as an educational resource for schools, researchers and tourists, fostering a deeper appreciation of Arunachal Pradesh’s identity while encouraging conservation efforts.
The books, published in both English and Hindi, will be distributed to libraries, educational institutions and cultural centres across the state, with plans for wider circulation in other parts of India.
