Three Arrested in Pachmarhi Gang Rape of Minor Girl, Police Say

Madhya Pradesh police have detained three suspects in a gang rape of a minor student in Pachmarhi, after they allegedly lured the girl and her friend to a remote hill area.
Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh – Police announced the arrest of three individuals accused of committing a gang rape against a minor schoolgirl. The suspects were taken into custody following a complaint that the girl and her companion were taken to an isolated spot in the hills and assaulted.
According to the police statement, the accused lured the minor and her friend to a deserted area, allegedly using a local Gypsy settlement as a point of reference before carrying out the crime. The investigation team recovered the statements of the victims and identified the three perpetrators based on their testimonies.
The three accused have been presented before the local magistrate and are being held under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The case is now under further forensic and judicial scrutiny, with authorities promising swift legal action.
Police have urged the public to cooperate with ongoing inquiries and have assured that additional support will be provided to the victims and their families during the legal process.
