Three individuals were taken into custody after a batch of liquor bottles was found on the premises of a pharmaceutical firm.
Three people were arrested by local police after a large number of liquor bottles were discovered inside a pharmaceutical company’s storage area. The bottles, which were sealed and unlabelled, were found during a routine inspection of the facility.
Police officials say the discovery came to light when a maintenance worker noticed an odd stack of containers and reported it to security. Upon investigation, authorities confirmed that the items were illicit alcohol.
The arrested individuals are believed to be employees of the company who allegedly smuggled the liquor into the premises for personal consumption. They have been charged under the state’s liquor prohibition laws.
The company has issued a statement expressing its cooperation with the investigation and reaffirming its commitment to compliance with all regulatory norms.
