Thousands Attend Mahakal Temple's Bhasma Aarti in Ujjain

Thousands of devotees congregated at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain for the world-famous Bhasma Aarti on the occasion of Ashadh Krishna Paksha Navami. The temple doors opened early morning for the ritualistic Abhishek.
Ujjain witnessed a massive turnout of devotees at the Mahakaleshwar Temple on Wednesday morning for the revered Bhasma Aarti. The auspicious occasion of Ashadh Krishna Paksha Navami drew thousands of faithful to the temple premises.
Following the opening of the temple gates at 4 AM, the presiding deity, Lord Mahakal, underwent a sacred Panchamrit Abhishek. This ritualistic bathing was followed by an अभिषेक using fruit juices, a significant part of the morning's ceremonies.
The Bhasma Aarti, a unique and ancient ritual performed at the Mahakaleshwar Temple, saw a large congregation of devotees participating in the spiritual proceedings.
