In Calai village of Dausa district, thieves smashed a window and stole jewellery worth about ₹20 lakh and cash of ₹1 lakh, totaling roughly ₹21 lakh.

Police in Dausa district reported that a group of thieves forced entry into a residence in Calai village, located in the Sikandra police‑station jurisdiction, by breaking a window. The occupants were asleep in the courtyard at the time of the intrusion.

Investigators say the burglars made off with jewellery valued at around ₹20 lakh and cash amounting to ₹1 lakh, bringing the total loss to approximately ₹21 lakh. No injuries were reported, but the family suffered a significant financial setback.
