TGRERA Extends Validity of Real Estate Project Approvals Amid West Asia Crisis

The Telangana Government Real Estate Regulatory Authority has extended the validity period of real estate project approvals, citing the ongoing West Asia crisis as a reason.

Telangana Government Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) has announced that it will extend the validity period of real‑estate project approvals. The move comes as a response to the ongoing crisis in West Asia, which has disrupted supply chains and slowed down construction activities across the state.

The extension will allow developers to continue working on their projects without the immediate need to renew approvals or seek additional clearances. It is intended to provide a buffer period for the industry to adapt to the uncertainties caused by the regional turmoil.

TGRERA officials said the decision will help maintain market stability and protect the interests of investors, home buyers and construction firms. The authority will monitor the situation closely and may revise the extension if the external conditions change.

The announcement was made during a press briefing held at the TGRERA headquarters in Hyderabad.
