The Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 schedule has been released. About 1.5 million teachers will sit for a 150-question exam starting 12 October, with applications open from 21 August to 4 September.
The Ministry of Education has announced the schedule for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026.
The exam will be held on 12 October 2026 and will be taken by approximately 1.5 million teachers across the country.
Candidates will face 150 multiple-choice questions, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Applications will be accepted from 21 August to 4 September 2026, allowing teachers to register and prepare in advance.
