The Anti‑Corruption Bureau of Telangana has detained a senior civil supplies official after uncovering assets worth about ₹9.41 crore that far exceed his known income.
The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana announced the arrest of a civil supplies department manager following a probe that identified assets disproportionate to his declared earnings, estimated at roughly ₹9.41 crore.
Investigators said the assets uncovered during the enquiry far exceed the income the official could legally account for, prompting the ACB to file a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The arrested official is expected to be produced before a magistrate within the stipulated time frame, after which further legal proceedings will determine the final outcome of the case.
