The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, together with DPIIT, held a Tejas workshop in Muzaffarpur, attracting over 450 participants to guide them on creating employment opportunities.

A Tejas workshop was convened in Muzaffarpur under the joint aegis of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. More than 450 young attendees, including students, budding entrepreneurs and grassroots business owners, gathered to explore ways of shifting from job seekers to job providers.

The programme is part of a broader government effort to strengthen non‑metropolitan economies by linking local startups with institutional support, mentorship and market resources. Organisers emphasized that the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity in tier‑2 and tier‑3 towns.

Participants received practical guidance on business planning, access to funding channels, and networking with industry experts. The workshop also highlighted government schemes that can be leveraged for scaling operations and creating sustainable employment in their communities.

By focusing on skill development and entrepreneurial mindset, the event aims to catalyse a ripple effect of job creation across Bihar’s smaller cities, aligning with national goals of inclusive growth.
