Teenagers Shoot Man Over Music System in Jaffrabad, Delhi

Police say five minors, aged 16‑17, opened fire on a man who refused to return a music system in Jaffrabad, Delhi, on Saturday night.
On Saturday night, a dispute over a music system turned violent in the Jaffrabad neighbourhood of North‑East Delhi. According to police reports, a group of teenage boys, aged between 16 and 17, demanded the return of a music system from a man who was present at a birthday gathering. When the man refused, the youths allegedly opened fire, injuring him.
The victim, who was attending the birthday party, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and began an investigation into the shooting.
Within hours, law enforcement detained five minors suspected of being involved in the attack. The arrested individuals are being held for further questioning, and the case has been registered under sections relating to unlawful discharge of a firearm and causing grievous hurt.
Delhi Police have warned that any escalation of such violent behaviour among minors will attract strict legal action. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek to establish the exact sequence of events and motive behind the shooting.
