Team Sikkim Wraps 9-Day Flood Relief Mission in Nepal, Supports 300 Families

The recent monsoon floods have devastated parts of Nepal’s Rasuwa district, leaving thousands without shelter and basic supplies. In response, Team Sikkim, a volunteer group from the Indian state of Sikkim, launched a nine‑day relief mission in early September. The team set up temporary shelters, distributed food packets, and supplied clean drinking water to the affected communities. Over the course of the operation, they reached more than 300 families, ensuring that essential needs were met while local authorities worked on longer‑term recovery. The mission was praised by Nepalese officials for its swift and organized response.
