The Tamil Nadu State Board has published the schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, with the first papers to be held on 3 March.
The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Education issued the official timetable for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. According to the schedule, the first set of papers will be conducted on 3 March, marking the start of a series of examinations that will run over the following weeks.
The board’s announcement, reported by India Today, details the dates for each subject, providing schools and students with a clear framework to plan their revision and logistics. The timetable also outlines the order of papers, allotted time slots, and any scheduled breaks between sessions.
Education officials emphasized that the schedule has been prepared in line with the academic calendar and pandemic‑related adjustments made in previous years. Schools across Tamil Nadu are now expected to inform students and parents about the exact dates and venues as per the board’s guidelines.
Stakeholders, including teachers and coaching centres, have welcomed the early release, noting that it allows for better coordination of study plans and reduces uncertainty among examinees.
The board has urged candidates to adhere to the prescribed dates and to follow health and safety protocols during the examination period.
