Tamil Nadu Exhibitors Seek Ticket Price Hike to ₹250

In a bid to improve profitability, cinema hall owners in Tamil Nadu have approached the state government with a proposal to raise ticket prices. They are seeking permission to increase the cost of tickets to ₹250, a substantial jump from the current rates. The exhibitors argue that rising operational costs, including electricity and maintenance, necessitate the price hike. They believe that a higher ticket price would allow them to sustain their businesses and provide better cinematic experiences for audiences.
