Suspended CSP Neha Pachisia on the run for 14 days in Katni land deal case

Four accused, including suspended CSP Neha Pachisia, have evaded arrest for two weeks in a Katni land‑deal and corruption investigation, despite a rejected bail plea and a reward announcement.
The Enforcement Directorate has opened a probe into alleged irregularities in the allotment of land in Katni district, accusing a former Chief Section Officer of the state civil services, Neha Pachisia, of involvement in a fraudulent transaction. Along with Pachisia, three other individuals are named in the case, which alleges corruption and manipulation of the land‑sale process.
Pachisia, who was suspended from service following the investigation, applied for anticipatory bail, but the court dismissed the plea. A monetary reward has been announced for information leading to the arrest of the fugitives, and a lookout notice has been issued to prevent them from leaving the country.
Despite these measures, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) assigned to the case reports that it has been unable to locate any of the four accused for the past 14 days. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and are intensifying efforts to apprehend the suspects.
